چکیده
Abstract Total Electron Content (TEC) modeling is critical for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) users to mitigate ionospheric delay errors. The mapping function usually used Vertical TEC correction models slant and vertical conversion. But the cannot characterize variation in different azimuths between user satellites. error resulting from tends be bigger middle low latitudes. Therefore, a new algorithm Slant (STEC) with Satellite-based Ionospheric Model (SIM) proposed this contribution. Validation tests are carried out GNSS observation data Crustal Movement Observation Network of China during solar activities seasons. performance SIM compared that several commonly-used Map (GIM) Regional (RIM) products. results show STEC bias STD within 1.0 TECU about 2.0 TECU, respectively, can correct over 90% RMS errors, outperforming GIM RIM Consequently, option high-accuracy regional local networks.

Global positioning system (GPS) measurements provide accurate and continuous 3-dimensional position, velocity and time data anywhere on or above the surface of the earth, anytime, and in all weather conditions. However, the predominant ranging error source for GPS signals is an ionospheric error. The ionosphere is the region of the atmosphere from about 60 km to more than 1500 km above the eart...
متن کاملMonitoring the TEC variation using pattern matching method during earthquakes as determined from ground based TEC measurement and satellite data
Total electron content (TEC) data, obtained from GPS satellites can be used as a tool for extracting earthquake precursor. In this paper, a pattern matching technique is used for monitoring TEC variation during and prior to the earthquake. For the experiment two major earthquake events i.e. Bhutan earthquake on 21st September 2009 and Nepal earthquake on 25th April 2015 are considered for analy...

The ionosphere is still considered one of the most significant error sources in precise Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) positioning. On the other hand, new satellite signals and data processing methods allow for a continuous increase in the accuracy of the available ionosphere models derived from GNSS observables. Therefore, many research groups around the world are conducting resear...
